Introduction to Throwing

Service Description

A fun introduction to throwing on the potters wheel. We will cover preparing your clay, centring, raising the walls, taking your pots off the wheel without squishing them as well as dealing with wobbles. At the end you can choose up to 3 pieces to be fired and glazed, ready for collection at a later date. With a small group of only 6 people per session, each person will work on their own wheel and will be guided through making pottery on the wheel using stoneware clay.
